民国初期，五命河接连发生悬案。河神八爷和徒弟月儿在村民秋生的邀请下，为自己中邪的姐姐驱除邪祟。随着八爷的到来，慢慢揭开了五命河死亡案件背后的真相，原来这一切和当地富绅少爷钱金明脱不了干系，而接连惨死的村民背后，也暗藏了一起人性惨案。
